Spring has sprung

Winter has finally relaxed its grip on our piece of property high in the Montana mountains–Mothers Day marked the first time I was able to drive the truck up our driveway since last November.

Spring has arrived and the grass is beginning to green, the flowers to bloom–our house is full of artistic endeavor & creativity. Harm paints/draws continually, creating custom pet portraits and a new line of “working dog breed” gift cards. Julian is learning the alphabet, and can often be found hunkered with a good book reading to himself–ditto for Oksana, except far more advanced. Brother Laird writes all day every day, both on his latest pieces of fiction, as well as campaigns for Harm & I.

I am always working on improving my skills as a writer–keep an eye out for my latest work in the next edition of Mushing Magazine, due to street any day.

Life is productive, filled to the brim with rich textures, vibrant colors. I love my family.

Thanks for tuning in–more to follow….

  1. You are definitely a glass half full kind of man. Your life will always be the richer for it. 🙂

Sounds like a busy time for all, Jason
. It is nice to see the green grass and not have it covered everyother day by snow, Although the mountain tops around the Gallatin Valley are very white again. The warmer days have certainly been adding to the water running downhill and there are lots of streams out of their banks. But I love the green, the new goslings swimming in the ponds, and the summer birds coming back.
