Summer Writing Project

I’m still on track to have Act I of The Book of Ten ready for release as an eBook by the middle of September, hopefully with Act II to follow by mid-December. Also, there is a pretty good chance of seeing them both out as downloadable audio books by this coming Christmas.

I’m very excited about this project–I feel as if my prose is far more controlled than when I wrote Ballad of the Northland, yielding a tighter, more cohesive series of sentences/paragraphs/chapters.

The overall plan for The Book of Ten is to create a total of four epic novels (a project that will take many years to complete), each one broken into 3 distinct segments–the first of these books (all three segments) deals with Ten as a young man, about sixteen years of age, just stumbling from the relatively peaceful wilderness where he had been raised by his adoptive people, into the “civilized” world of man.

Most of this first story takes place in the rugged mountain country between Helena and Lincoln, Montana.

Thanks for tuning in–more to follow….
