Daily Blog

I hope everybody enjoyed my impromptu dog mushing coverage during the 2011 race season—I had no firm plans to write about the big races before the season began, and ended up diving in headfirst on a spur of the moment call. My visitors counter sky-rocketed during the Iditarod, and now that the race is finally over, it seems as if many of you have stuck with my blog—I just want to say THANK YOU!!! Your combined support is really what makes all of the effort worthwhile.

Please keep in mind that Jason Barron’s Blog is a daily concern—just because the race season is winding down doesn’t mean that I won’t be working hard to keep you all entertained & informed through the spring, summer, and into next winter—I write about a wide variety of subjects, from long distance training & racing to adventure literature, and I always have something cooking on the literary burner!

It seems that this writing gig agrees with me—Harm & I have moved tons of copies of our new novel Ballad of the Northland, and the blog shows a huge amount of promise. My plan is to seriously pursue this new career for the foreseeable future, drastically expanding on my dog mushing coverage during the upcoming 2012 mushing season, as well as working steadily at two new full length adventure stories (one of which might be closer than you think!).

I appreciate all of you who have taken the time to read my humble offerings, and I sincerely hope that you check back daily 🙂

Thanks for tuning in–more to follow…
